Approach to Care

First and foremost, Amy wants her clients to feel heard. She believes education is essential to any rehabilitation program, so she strives for this in her care. Amy hopes to make everyone smile during their time with her while at the same time providing the most knowledgeable, professional, and supportive path to recovery. She believes in a team approach where her clients feel like they are an active part of their care and feel comfortable not just with her, but with the entire Sport and Spine family.

Why I Love Being a

Senior Physiotherapist

Amy loves being a physiotherapist because she loves hearing her clients’ stories of recovery, from the big moments like “I finished my marathon!” to the little moments that feel so big like “I was able to brush my hair.” All the recovery stories warm her heart. Who wouldn’t want a job that helps people live their best lives? She also loves her job because she gets to know and hear about her clients' lives, from traveling to kids to work problems to what’s the best place to grab a good burger.

A Little About Me

Since becoming a mom, Amy has newfound aspirations to take further education in pediatric physiotherapy and women’s health. She loves running, talking about running, traveling, and quilting. She loves dogs, so much so that she took a rehabilitation course just for her furry family. Amy loves to stay active; she lives on an acreage, so that keeps her busy, but she is always up for an adventure. She is currently volunteering for an organization for her son and will continue to take an active part in volunteering for his endeavors. Amy has done many different volunteer roles in the past; her most recent was for the Physiotherapy Professional Council.
